EnrollWise is an independent, advertising-supported website. Choosing health insurance means comparing premiums, deductibles, coinsurance and subsidy rules that most people only deal with once a year. We build simple calculators and straight-talking guides that show the actual numbers before you enroll.

What we publish

An ACA premium tax credit estimator for the 2027 plan year, a plan total-cost comparison, HSA and FSA calculators, a deductible and coinsurance calculator, an open enrollment date finder, and guides to choosing between plan types.

How we research

Every figure comes from a primary source: IRS revenue procedures, HHS poverty guidelines, CMS and Medicare.gov pages and the Internal Revenue Code. Each page links its sources and shows when it was last reviewed. Where a number for 2027 has not been published, we say so instead of guessing. Every figure that comes from a third party is linked at the bottom of the page where it is used, and every page shows when it was last reviewed. If a carrier, retailer or organisation changes its published information, the official source wins over anything on this site.

How the tools work

Everything runs in your browser. The incomes, premiums and plan details you type are not sent to our servers and are not stored.

How we make money

EnrollWise shows advertising (Google AdSense) and does not accept payment from insurers, brokers, banks or any company in exchange for coverage in our guides. We do not sell leads, and we do not sell or recommend any specific insurance policy or financial product.

Corrections

If you spot an error, tell us through the contact page. We correct factual mistakes quickly and update the “last updated” date when we do.
